i am fairly new to this hobby,
but there is one thing i wanted from the beginning ,that is LONGRANGE.
I live in iceland and my favourite thing is to record videos and pictures from the nature here , especiallt waterfalls (of which we have a ton of )
so my main purpose for fpv will be cinematic.
after getting started,i soon realized that cinematic freestyle will be my new favourite thing to doo, since i really like the freestyle part of fpv, learning new tricks and progressing my "obsticle evation skill"
so i will be building my fleet of durable batteryefficient long range quads.
i looked into crossfire, but crossfire is quite expensive for what it does, and also is already quite an "old" ecosystem, yes i know it works very well, but i am that kinda a guy that likes to do things different,
so when everyone says go crossfire i think to myself there must be another system out there :-)
so i jumped on the ghost "train".
tiny recievers, tiny antennas (they look so good :-) )
The installation is quite simple (although it wasnt for me (since i am still learning the very basics on uarts and solderpoints)
but if you got that down it is pretty simple.
with betaflight 4.3 the Immersion rc ghost will hopefully become "fully activated"
Which means you can choose the ghost protocol under the reciever tab and hopefully more settings will become abailable.
I still have to do a testflight on my quads
will hopefully do that in a vouple of hours :-) (fingers crossed the weather will be in my corner 🤞)
Will post future progress and issues of my ghost experience here.
Also would be great if anyone on here has experience on immersion rc ghost protocol and could share as well .
(just thought i start a small progress thread for my long range .)
