I've got 5 x 5 inch quads and a 3inch on the way.
I've got a real hankering for a cinewhoop but would I genuinely use it? I can get pretty nice cinematic stuff from the 5" and it wouldn't be used for anything like indoor stuff or commercial stuff.
Waddya think
I didn't need one. I don't fly them like cinewhoops. They are pretty stable in acro. I like to rip balls with them. But gotta pick up the new stuff. And a powerful well tuned one is pretty fun.
Thanks guys... Ordered one
Yeah it depends on what you want it for. Also the size, type, and power can vary depending on what you want it for. I have a light protek for slightly faster stuff, skating videos and stuff but I have a heavy taycan for slower scenic type stuff, flying off hiking trails and such. Do you need one? Well do we really NEED any of this stuff? The real question is "how bad do you want one?".
It all depends on what you’re trying to do. If you want to hit slow tight gaps then a cinewhoop is for you.But if you just want power then stick to a 5. Cinewhoops can be super loud but with all the new props they are getting quieter. The shendrones big baby is my new go to for cine type videos. It’s best of both worlds.
I have a protek35 on the way. I’d probably suggest a slammed squirt or protek35 (holds full GoPro)
If you're into cinematic and faster flight then 5" yes you'll use it. Has to be HD or it's not worth it IMHO.
If your thinking about it I say yes go for it. I've got the cvater 4s (most of my quads are 4s so sticking with that) it's an amazing Cinewhoop, I can do nice long flowing runs with it but all so freestyle it's an amazing quad
