So yesterday I went out to fly around with Spark1 and ZombieDan. Dan hasn't flown in over a year, and Sparky had 3 new Crossfire builds, his first Crossfire builds, to maiden. Those 3 birds were set to go. Arming just fine.
On build #1, he had missed a motor direction reversal on motor 4. Spun out, flipped into the dirt.
We could not figure it out. He had not set up turtle mode in any way, on either build. In fact build #2 was first on the tarmac😆, and armed and spun just fine. At the last second he decided to switch quads.
So he did not fly. Sadface. 😢he still had a good time and was offered the opportunity to fly. That's how we do.
Fast forward to getting back to his place, hooking up to betaflight. There it was in the modes tab. Turtle mode. Set to the arming switch. Both builds.
So either we're crazy, or his biff to the dirt, screwed up 2 other builds? How is this even possible? I saw with my own eyes both these birds were ready to rip, arming, spinning. Please discuss.🤣
He fixed the switches/modes, both are arming just fine now.
